May witnessed the largest upswing in consumers looking for purchase mortgage advice in 2010 so far, according to analysis from paaleads.com.

Last month there were 24% more consumers seeking advice for mortgage purchases on moneysupermarket.com, compared to April’s data. Similarly, remortgage leads saw an increase of 19%.
