LendInvest appoints new director of fundraising

LendInvest has announced a new senior hire to its funds team with Harry Hall joining as its new director of fundraising.

Hall (pictured) joins LendInvest from Allspring (previously Wells Fargo Asset Management), where he worked as a sales director within the UK financial institutions team. During his time at the business Hall developed relationships with a wide range of institutional clients. Prior to Allspring, Hall worked at BlackRock, specialising in UK Defined Benefit pension scheme investors.

With over 10 years experience working in asset management, Hall has experience in capital raising and relationship management. He brings broad expertise across the asset class spectrum including fixed income, equities, complex solutions such as LDI, and alternatives including hedge funds, infrastructure and private credit.

At LendInvest he will be focused on building client relationships and raising capital for the funds business. Key geographies include Asia, Middle East, Nordics, selective Europe and the UK.

This hire comes following the company’s announcement of two major funding partnerships in 2023, a £300 million financial agreement with Lloyds Bank; and £100 million partnership with the government’s British Business Bank and HSBC.

Hall, director of fundraising at LendInvest, said: “I am delighted to have joined such an ambitious and forward thinking company, truly refreshing in the asset management space. LendInvest has built a fantastic brand in the lending market, underpinned by class leading technology and robust risk management. Clients will find us truly innovative and differentiated, able to play a unique role in portfolios as a trusted partner with specialist expertise.”
