Keystone lowers rates across majority of BTL range

Keystone Property Finance has cut rates by 10 basis points across nearly all of its products.

The reductions apply to the specialist buy-to-let lender’s buy-to-let, Product Transfer, PT Plus and Refurb to Let ranges.

Standard rates now start at 3.39% at 65% loan to value (LTV), while expat products begin at 4.99% and Holiday Let rates at 5.69%, both at 65% LTV.

Rates for Product Transfer, PT Plus and Refurb to Let Exit products now start at 5.04% at 65% LTV.

The cuts follow changes intended to simplify Keystone’s ranges and product guides, as well as the introduction of special edition products for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) and multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs).

The lender also introduced a 5% arrangement fee tier across its ranges and amended its criteria to accept HMOs and MUFBs containing up to 20 occupants or units.

Elise Coole (pictured), managing director at Keystone Property Finance, said: “We are always watching the market closely and when opportunities arise, we move quickly to pass those savings on to brokers and their clients.

“That is exactly what has happened in the past few days, allowing us to reduce rates by 10 basis points across nearly every product in our range.

“With mortgage rates having experienced upward pressure over the past month, we want brokers to know that we remain committed to offering competitive products that reflect the market conditions at that time.

“That responsiveness is something brokers and borrowers value and it will remain a key focus for us.”
