Crystal Specialist Finance has appointed Jane Benjamin as managing director of its Network and Club division, with responsibility for developing its specialist finance offering for mortgage advisers.
Benjamin (pictured) will oversee the development of a proposition covering specialist buy-to-let, bridging and commercial finance, designed to help brokers support clients with more complex borrowing requirements.
Her remit includes strengthening lender relationships, developing the network and club’s services and establishing a proposition for directly authorised advisers.
The appointment forms part of Crystal’s plans to expand its support for intermediaries seeking to increase their specialist finance business.
The business intends to combine access to specialist lenders with case management support and technical expertise to help advisers place transactions that may fall outside mainstream lending criteria.
DEVELOPING THE ADVISER PROPOSITION
Jo Breeden, group chief executive officer of Crystal Specialist Finance, said: “Jane’s appointment is an important step in our growth ambitions.
“We see a significant opportunity to help more advisers build their confidence and capability in specialist finance, supported by a proposition that delivers clear, practical value.
“Our ambition is to combine strong lender access with the expertise and support that help brokers turn opportunities into completed business. Jane will play a central role in shaping that offering, and I’m delighted to welcome her to Crystal.”
Benjamin said: “I am excited to be joining Crystal at such an important stage in the development of its network and club proposition.
“There is a real opportunity to help advisers grow their specialist finance business by combining access to the right lenders with practical support, expertise and a strong understanding of their clients’ needs.”
