IFA partners with Assurant Intermediary

IFA business Hurst Independent Financial Services is now giving its HomeBuy Direct Scheme (HBD) customers access to Assurant Intermediary’s full range of insurance products.

Hurst Independent Financial Services is part of the Countrywide Plc.

Developers taking part in the scheme must deal through a Financial Services approved organisation, IFA, or an intermediary like Hurst Independent Financial Services to secure appropriate products for purchasers.

Ray Hurst, managing director of Hurst Independent Financial Services, said: “We have chosen to partner with Assurant Intermediary because of its unbeatable flexible approach to general insurance. Its range of products allows us to help a large number of HBD customers that require flexible insurance products due to the complex nature of the scheme.””
