Gateway buys surveying practice

Gateway surveyors has acquired Harrison Murray Commercial, a surveying practice based in in the East Midlands.

Harrison Murray Commercial has become a wholly owned subsidiary and its surveyors will continue to cover the East Midlands carrying out residential mortgage valuations and commercial property management.

Marcus Radcliffe, managing director at Gateway, said: “The team at Harrison Murray has exceptional local knowledge in an area of the country that where we continue to see work volumes growing.

“They are a thriving business with an excellent local reputation and their specialism in commercial property management helps us expand our group’s offering.

“For our part, we can offer them stability and a bright long-term future with increased business through having a panel manager as their parent firm.

“This is alongside the future benefit of being within our group PI scheme. We are very pleased to be growing our business with the addition of such an excellent firm.”
