FP Show supports Mortgage Sleep Out

Published on

The Finance Professional Show is backing Mortgage Sleep Out, with a number of initiatives to raise awareness and sponsorship for the charity event.

Attendees of The Finance Professional Show at Olympia London on 7 November will have the chance to visit a Mortgage Sleep Out stand to find out more information, register to take part or pledge their support. There will also be opportunities to make donations around the show and a charity raffle for everyone who donates at least £5, with Twenty7Tec donating three all-new Echo Shows, which will be given out during the day.

Mortgage Sleep Out will take place on Friday 30 November, with nearly 900 participants already confirmed to spend the night sleeping rough at events across the UK to raise money for its charity partner, End Youth Homelessness.

William Lloyd, director of operations at Brightstar, said: “We’ve been blown away by the amount of support the industry has shown for Mortgage Sleep Out and this support has helped us to achieve things we didn’t think were possible just a couple of months ago. The Finance Professional Show has been kind enough to support the cause and I urge anybody attending the event to visit the Mortgage

“Sleep Out Stand to get involved or lend your support. Thank you to James Tucker and the team at Twenty7Tec for providing a raffle prize for the event. We are building something very special and we can make a real difference to the lives of homeless people across the UK.”

Buster Tolfree, commercial director – specialist mortgages at United Trust Bank, added: “Mortgage Sleep Out is a fantastic initiative. Often it is easy to forget those less fortunate, that have far less than the quality of life we enjoy every day, and it’s great to see so many people from the industry coming together to support something that really matters.

“This year’s Finance Professional Show looks set to be the best yet and hopefully all of the delegates will be able to support Mortgage Sleep Out, either by registering to take part or making a donation.”
