Exweb reaches 30,000 mark

1st Exchange has passed the 30,000 user milestone for its intermediary portal Exweb.

This represents an increase of 20% in under two years. 5,177 new adviser users have joined Exweb since December 2008.

As of 30 September 2010, there were 30,964 users of Exweb. Every second, they complete an average of four quotes, provided on over 350 products from more than 50 providers.

Andy Watts, intermediary director for 1st Exchange, said: “We’ve created the most comprehensive online trading platform for the UK financial services industry. Over the past two years we have been creating enhancements to our offering and providing bespoke services to our clients and this has resulted in a steady flow of new users.
