Ageas Protect has made two appointments in its protection business.

The firm, previously known as Fortis UK, says Vicky Churcher has joined as national sales manager, while Lee Gill has been appointed to the role of strategic account manager.

Churcher joins Ageas Protect from Bupa, with almost 15 years in senior sales management positions. Her core responsibility will be the management and growth of the business development team and its key accounts. She will report to Mark Anders, head of sales at Ageas Protect.

Gill was previously sales operations manager at Bupa, and will be responsible for leading and developing the relationships with a number of Ageas Protection key intermediaries.
