DAS to enter mortgage market

Legal expenses insurer DAS is launching into the mortgage market at Mortgage Business Expo at London Olympia on 10-11 November.

DAS will unveil a range of products designed for brokers to sell alongside their mainstream mortgage offerings. The products include ‘property let legal protection’ aimed at the buy-to-let and commercial lending sectors and ‘home emergency’ aimed at all residential clients.

Additional products include ID Theft, DAS Householdlaw and Helpline services.

The mortgage broker team will be headed by Debbie Ranger, formerly of Mortgage Times group.
