CSS Training Academy passes graduate landmark

Published on

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), the supplier of valuation panel management services, has delivered a further 11 fully trained surveyors into the industry, taking its total to over 400 since the launch of its training academy.

CSS’s training academy is led by Sam Holton, head of trainee development and Sarah Chalmers-Stevens, head of professional development at Countrywide Surveying Services.

Graduates have emerged from a wide array of professional and personal backgrounds over the years to bring a diverse range of skills, experience and expertise to the business.

In 2022, CSS has doubled the number of AssocRICS assessment qualification windows in a bid to get more residential surveyors certified and out into the industry. In partnership with RICS, these AssocRICS assessment qualification windows have previously taken place on a bi-annual basis and provide the opportunity for trainees to take their relevant examinations within this timeframe. In 2022, these assessment windows will occur on a quarterly basis.

Matthew Cumber, managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “There is an ongoing skills shortage throughout the industry and this highlights how integral the CSS training academy is for our future and also that of the wider surveying sector.

“As a business, we never tire of seeing a willing graduate enter our training academy and emerging from it as a highly accomplished surveyor. And this is why we remain so committed to investing heavily in our training and development processes going forward.”
