Complete FS to distribute new Saffron mortgage range

Complete FS has revealed that it is one of a select number of partners which are distributing a new product range from Saffron Building Society.

Only available via intermediaries, Saffron’s range includes mortgages for both ‘Everyday Situations’ and ‘Special Situations’.

This follows the announcement by Legal & General Mortgage Club that it had become the only national distributor of Saffron Building Society mortgages.

Tony Salentino, director at Complete FS said: “Saffron Building Society still values human underwriting rather than the slavish reliance on credit scoring exhibited by other lenders. It is good to see another lender returning to the distributor/packager model because they understand the value in having an experienced business like us pre-vetting enquiries which means they only receive quality applications which minimises delays, speeding up processing and reducing costs.”

Peter Izard, head of mortgages at Saffron Building Society, added: “I’m delighted that Saffron Building Society will be working closely with Complete FS, to make our new range of ‘Everyday Situations’ and ‘Special Situations’ mortgages available to their brokers.”
