Chetwood Bank appoints Darren Hodgson as BDM for the South

Chetwood Bank has appointed Darren Hodgson as business development manager covering the South of England.

Hodgson (pictured) brings more than 20 years of financial services experience to the role and has a strong background in mortgages, having previously worked as both a mortgage adviser and business development manager at Santander and Nationwide.

He joins the bank’s intermediary team supporting the sales operations of ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages.

The combined structure allows business development managers to assist brokers with placing cases across both lenders’ product ranges, helping them find suitable solutions for intermediaries and their clients.

COVERING ALL BASES

Hodgson said: “Business development is something I’m passionate about so to be given the chance to work for such a forward-looking organisation whose ambitions align with my own goals and values is a fantastic opportunity.

“I’m looking forward to developing my region and creating a supportive environment.

“In today’s ever-changing buy-to-let market, intermediaries need to be able to cover all bases to be successful so I’m excited to help them place cases with ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages.”
