Capital Bridging Finance has welcomed Robin Turnbull as a senior underwriter to its underwriting team.

Turnbull, most recently of Clayton Euro Risk Management and previously with Clydesdale Bank for 17 years, joins the growing team of underwriters.

Keith Aldridge, managing director of Capital Bridging, said: “We are delighted that we have added another industry heavyweight to our team.

“We have exciting plans to diversify in 2014 and we see the strengthening of our expert team of underwriters as pivotal to our ambitions.

“Robin has a reputation for structuring a solution that satisfies all parties and with the experience we now have at our disposal, our distribution and broker partners will be reaping more benefits when they choose Capital Bridging for their short term funding needs.”

Turnbull added: “I am very excited to be joining Capital Bridging at a time when it is looking to diversify its proposition and to build on the outstanding growth achieved in 2013.

“I am joining an experienced team and I am looking forward to sharing my experience with them to bring their ambitious plans to market.”
