To use a sporting analogy, how many times have we heard “he’s a confidence player””? Almost as many as we hear clich&eacutes in post-match interviews. Confidence breeds confidence and is an integral component in various sporting performances and beyond. But in order to possess this confidence it has to be embedded somewhere at some time.
