BuildLoan launches World Cup predictor for brokers

Published on

BuildLoan has launched a World Cup prediction competition for UK mortgage brokers, with cash prizes of up to £1,000 and a matching charity donation for the winner.

The specialist self-build and renovation finance distributor said the competition is free to enter and open exclusively to brokers registered with BuildLoan.

Participants are being invited to predict the outcome of every match in this summer’s FIFA World Cup and compete against other advisers on a national leaderboard.

The overall winner will receive £1,000, while the brokers finishing second and third will receive £500 and £250 respectively. BuildLoan will also donate £1,000 to a charity chosen by the winner.

New users can register online before submitting their predictions.

BuildLoan said the competition had been designed to provide a more engaging way to connect with intermediary partners during the tournament.

Raymond Connor, chief executive at BuildLoan, said: “Our broker partners are at the heart of everything we do, and we wanted to create something that would bring a bit of extra excitement to this summer’s World Cup.

“The Predictor gives brokers the chance to test their football knowledge against their peers and compete for some fantastic prizes, all while supporting a charitable cause at the same time.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the leaderboard develop throughout the tournament, discovering who will be crowned our inaugural World Cup champion – and of course supporting Scotland!”

Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Prizes will be awarded once the final match has been played and final standings have been confirmed.
