Brokers back Leeds’ opening hours extension

Published on

The Leeds Building Society has said that intermediaries have responded positively to longer opening hours by the lender’s mortgage service desk.

Towards the end 2015 the Society extended opening hours to 8am until 8pm, seven days a week, and brokers have been using the extra time.

“We are always looking at ways to improve our service and listen carefully to feedback from our intermediary partners about how we can do this,” said Louisa Sedgwick, head of intermediary distribution at the Leeds.

“We’d already improved our service by extending the size of the intermediary team, including introducing more telephone BDMs.

“The expert advice and support they offer complements the service provided by their on-the-road colleagues and we know brokers appreciate there is always help at the end of the phone.

“The longer opening hours have been well-received and are part of the Society’s commitment to supporting our excellent product range with exceptional customer service.”
