Assurant wins PTFS gong

Assurant Intermediary won the title of Best Buildings and Contents Insurance Provider by Personal Touch Financial Services (PTFS) at its annual provider awards ceremony.

Assurant Intermediary was appointed to the PTFS buildings and contents insurance panel in April 2010. It plans to introduce a new range of products to the panel next year as well as a new accident, sickness and unemployment offering.

Dev Malle, sales and marketing director at PTFS, said: “Assurant Intermediary has certainly lived up to its promise of being an expert in the intermediary market since joining our B&C panel this year. Its B&C products are some of the most competitive in the market which has undoubtedly helped it achieve a leading position on our panel.
