Assurant Intermediary launches new POS platform

Published on

Assurant Intermediary has unveiled UPOS, its new web-based point of sale platform designed to provide intermediaries with a single point of access to its full product range.

UPOS will allow intermediaries to access multiple quotes, compare the market and determine the most suitable option for their clients by keying in just one set of information, Assurant says. All products are underwritten at the point of sale and all documents are available online including the illustration, demands and needs statement and policy documentation. These can all be emailed to the client as required.

Assurant Intermediary’s managing director, Nigel Payne , said: “This is very much the first stage in what will be a continual evolution of our point of sale proposition for intermediaries. We’re looking to add more products to our general insurance portfolio and increase our panel of providers. Our goal is to ensure we give intermediaries the choice they’re looking for on behalf of their clients
