Alternative Bridging expands sales team

Alternative Bridging Corporation has bolstered its field sales operation with the appointment of Jon Durie as business development manager (BDM).

Durie (pictured) has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He joins Alternative from Glenhawk where he was also a BDM. Prior to that, Jonhespent three years at Aldermore Bank where he was property development manager.

He has also worked at Assetz Capital, Business Lending Group and Connaught Asset Management, Davenham Property Finance, Interbay and Bristol & West.

In his new role, Durie will be covering Scotland and the North East area and will report to Jonathan Rubins, Director at Alternative Bridging Corporation.

Durie said: “I am really pleased to be joining Alternative as they have been a mainstay in the market throughout my career. I’m very much looking forward to helping brokers place cases using our bridging, commercial, development finance and Alternative Overdraft products.”

Rubins added: “I’d like to welcome Jon to the Alternative team. He has a huge amount of experience and expertise in financial services and will be helping brokers in Scotland and the North East of England find solutions for their clients seeking short-term finance.

“As we celebrate our 30th anniversary we continue to expand our team to match our lending ambitions. As such, Jon has an important role to play in helping Alternative maintain its position as one of the leading lights in specialist lending.”
