Alps joins Open GI platform with landlord protection products

Published on

Alps, the managing general agent specialising in insurance add-on policies and claims solutions, has partnered with Open GI to bring its product suite to the software provider’s broker community.

The agreement will see Alps’ range, including motor legal protection, guaranteed hire vehicle, landlord legal protection and rent guarantee, made available to brokers trading through Open GI.

The move broadens Open GI’s product line at a time of change for the rental market, with the Renters’ Rights Bill expected to alter the relationship between landlords and tenants. Alps’ landlord-focused products are designed to offer legal support and protect rental income.

Brokers will also be able to draw on the MGA’s claims and legal expertise, delivered via its group law firm, as well as a service rated “excellent” by customers on Trustpilot.

Michelle O’Reilly, managing director at Alps, said: “Our partnership with Open GI expands broker distribution while giving the platform’s users access to A-rated add-on products.

“This collaboration enables brokers to differentiate themselves by offering clients meaningful, value-driven solutions. It’s a win for brokers, a win for clients, and a win for the platform.”

Simon Badley, chief executive at Open GI, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Alps to our platform. As an innovative leader in the add-on market, Alps strengthens our product range and empowers brokers to deliver more comprehensive, competitive insurance packages to their clients.”
