AIFA welcomes FSA’s trail commission clarification

The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) has welcomed the clarification from the FSA over the impact of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) on existing trail commission payments.

The regulator has recently indicated that existing trail commission will continue for firms after 2012.

Andrew Strange, director of policy at AIFA, said the comments from the FSA were welcome.
