West One expands mortgage sales team with four appointments

Published on

West One has appointed four members to its mortgage division sales team as the specialist lender seeks to strengthen its support for brokers across the UK.

Harry Galvin has joined as regional account manager for central London, having previously worked as a mortgage broker at Go Finance and as a business development manager at Furness Building Society.

Sarah Walters has been appointed telephone business development manager for central London. She was previously internal sales manager at Loans Warehouse.

West One has also recruited Masoumeh Shamsi and Daniel Maile as telephone business development managers covering the Midlands and South West. Both previously worked as sales account managers at Fortrade.

The lender said the appointments would give brokers greater access to sales support across its residential, buy-to-let and second charge mortgage ranges.

The expansion follows further sales growth at West One and recent appointments across its mortgage and short-term divisions.

Paul Huxter, head of intermediary sales and distribution at West One, said: “Building strong relationships with brokers is central to everything we do, and continuing to invest in our sales team is a key part of delivering the support our intermediary partners need.

“Harry, Sarah, Masoumeh and Daniel each bring valuable experience and a proven track record in client relationships and sales.

“Their appointments strengthen our presence across key regions and ensure we can continue providing brokers with the expertise, accessibility and service they expect from West One.”
