Wealthy Advisers Club opens registration for free lead generation training

The Wealthy Advisers Club is to hold a free online training session for mortgage and protection advisers on building more consistent lead generation systems.

The live session, How To Build A Lead-Generating Machine For Your Financial Services Business, will take place at 10am on 14 July and is open to advisers at all levels.

The Wealthy Advisers Club, which describes itself as the largest protection and mortgage adviser training community in the UK with more than 2,200 members, said the session would focus on helping advisers reduce their reliance on luck, algorithms, single introducers, bought leads and inconsistent referrals.

The training is aimed at experienced advisers, established firms, growing brokerages and those starting out who want to improve their lead generation processes as they scale, recruit and grow revenue.

During the session, Terry Blackburn, founder of The Wealthy Advisers Club, will set out six elements he has used over the past 17 years across financial services businesses, sales teams and adviser training.

Blackburn said: “I believe that the industry needs to move away from random marketing activity and start building proper systems to create better, more consistent leadflow and reduce the reliance on one source of leads. They need a proper lead-generating machine.

“In my view, advisers do not need to keep relying on expensive social media managers, random posting or one-off tactics. Instead, they need to understand how to build a lead machine using proven techniques that work together.

“My training will show advisers how to think about lead generation properly, how to diversify their strategy, and how to build a system that can create more conversations and appointments over time.”
