Vertex poaches business development head from HML

Mark Webster of Vertex

Mark Webster has joined Vertex Financial Services as its director of business development.

Webster (pictured) joins from HML, where he was head of business development. He was at the servicer for 16 years, spending the last seven years in a commercial and business development role.

His role at Vertex will be to support sales director Adam Oldfield in growing the company’s client portfolio.

“Now is the time for us to concentrate on selling our services to the financial services world,” said Vertex’s managing director Robert Coyle.

“We have spent many years focusing on developing the most robust and highest quality business process outsourcing software and service, and we are confident that today we can give clients the best systems that are currently on offer.

“With his connections and experience in this market, we are sure that Mark will help us to take this message to lenders and other prospective clients.”
