Short-term lender United Trust Bank has been running a broker promotion to give away a trip for two to New York including an insider tour of the financial district and a helicopter sight-seeing trip of Manhattan.

The winner was Peter Selvey-Clinton of Enness Private Clients. He said: “What a brilliant way to start Christmas. New York is somewhere I’ve always wanted to go to but I’ve never quite got around to arranging a trip.

“Thanks to United Trust Bank, and with very little effort from me, I’ll finally get too see Wall Street, Broadway and have an amazing helicopter view of that iconic skyline. I can’t wait.”

Alan Margolis, head of bridging at United Trust Bank, added: “I’m delighted for Peter. It’s a fantastic prize. All of the brokers who took part in our online surveys or visited us at Expos had a chance to win this fabulous trip. The more often they took part the more chances they had of winning, and on this occasion it was Peter who had luck on his side.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported UTB throughout 2013. It has been a very successful year across all three of the Bank’s lending divisions and we look forward to being even busier in 2014.

“We’ll be launching a new broker competition with another great prize next year, so watch this space.”
