TMG Mortgage Network promotes Amy Lister to training and development manager

Published on

TMG Mortgage Network has announced the promotion of Amy Lister to the position of training and development manager, continuing its emphasis on developing talent internally and strengthening support for advisers across the network.

Lister (pictured) steps up from her previous role in learning and development support, where she has become a familiar and trusted figure for advisers seeking practical, day-to-day guidance.

She brings more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, having worked across mortgage administration, adviser support, compliance, suitability checking and para-planning.

The network said the promotion reflects its focus on investing in its people and building on the existing training and competence framework already in place across the network.

In her new role, Lister will oversee the continued development of TMG’s training and development offering, with an emphasis on ensuring it remains practical, relevant and closely aligned with regulatory expectations and Consumer Duty outcomes.

The approach is intended to support advisers in building sustainable businesses that suit their own objectives and working styles.

Lister said: “Because I’ve done the job, I understand what advisers actually need day-to-day. This role is about development that genuinely supports our members and helps them build their businesses in the way that works for them.”

Scott Thorpe, founder and CEO of TMG Mortgage Network, added: “We invest in our people and promote from within — that’s how we build a stronger network.

“Amy is hugely respected by our members and will play a key role as we continue to deliver more meaningful support.”

The appointment follows TMG’s recent announcement of Jasmine Smith as head of sales.
