TMG Financial Services has agreed a sponsorship deal with professional snooker player Ashley Carty.

The Rotherham-based mortgage and protection business said the partnership formed part of its commitment to supporting local talent.

Carty (pictured) competes on the World Snooker Tour and has played against some of the sport’s leading names. He is seeking to climb the world rankings and compete more regularly in televised events.

TMG said the sponsorship reflected shared values of dedication, resilience and ambition.

Scott Thorpe, chief executive of TMG Financial Services, said: “At TMG, we’re incredibly proud of our Rotherham roots, so whenever we have the opportunity to support local people doing incredible things, we want to be part of their journey.

“Ashley has shown what can be achieved through dedication, resilience and commitment to his goals.

“Those are values we live by every day as a business, which makes this partnership a perfect fit. We’re delighted to support him as he continues competing at the highest level and can’t wait to see what he achieves next.”

Carty added: “I’m delighted to team up with TMG Financial services. To have the support of a successful business from Rotherham means a great deal to me.

“I’ll be proud to represent them on the professional snooker tour all over the world on and off the table. Their belief in my journey is greatly appreciated, and I’m looking forward to building a strong and successful partnership together.”
