Source Insurance has restructured its internal sales support team.

It has also invested in technology in response to feedback from brokers in order to further improve service standards.

The firm says improvements include ‘multi-skilling’ all members of the 15 strong team who handle in excess of 500 calls a day, as well as introducing a text-back and live chat facility, extended opening hours and dedicated resource for key accounts.

The Source believes its restructure and enhancements will also provide additional support to the field based team, enabling the BDMs to offer a more dedicated service.

Rob Rushton, head of sales and marketing, said: “We have adopted the principle of the sum of the whole is worth more than its parts, in restructuring the team.

“We have also listened to what our brokers have been asking for and I am pleased to say these improvements go a long way to meeting them, but as ever there is always more we can do and as such we will be making further improvements throughout the year.”
