The Right Mortgage & Protection Network holds flagship event

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network hosted over 350 advisers as it returned to the National Conference Centre for it second flagship event of the year, last week.

The event was supported by over 70 industry providers, over 20 guest speakers and guest speaker Heidi Loughlin’s inspirational presentation.

The awards ceremony saw celebration and recognition of both firms and individuals following their efforts over the last several months. This ceremony also allowed for recognition of those who have achieved the network’s newly launched protection specific awards covering both ASU and income protection products.

CEO Martin Wilson’s 40 years in the industry was celebrated and marked with a standing ovation from members and staff alike. He was applauded as he joined fellow directors on the stage and relived his financial and familial history with a series of photos.

Other activities included a charity-supporting virtual reality game, specialist roundtable sessions, provider networking and presentations.

Wilson (pictured) said: “After 40 years in the industry, it’s sometimes difficult to imagine that the industry could keep throwing the curveballs we’ve seen in recent weeks, but being able to host events like this amongst the noise, to reassure and refocus us as an industry and as professionals within it, is remarkable.

“As the network and our sister companies continue to grow, we welcome new members, new ideas and a new plan to further our resources and support for our members to secure those all-important best consumer outcomes. I am humbled by those who support not just myself but the team around me and remain forever grateful to every individual member.

“We look forward to welcoming our next event in April 2023 and warmly invite those looking to join us to get in touch.”
