Stonebridge has released its 2026 Regional Roadshow dates and revealed where it will be taking its mini-conference tour of Britain this year.
The mortgage and protection network stages the Stonebridge National Conference each Spring but takes to the road in the Autumn for six roadshows where members can catch up on everything new in the industry.
This year the roadshow has booked stops in Waltham Abbey (16th Sep), Glasgow (23rd Sep), Bristol (29th Sep), Gatwick, (1st Oct), Derby (7th Oct) and, finally, Leeds (8th Oct).
Stonebridge is the second-largest mortgage and protection network by number of appointed representatives (AR) firms, so the roadshow attracts hundreds of members as it makes its way around the country.
Seminars will cover traditional mortgages, protection and buy-to-let, alongside opportunities to network with other ARs.
The sessions will cover the latest market trends, regulatory developments and industry issues following a period of great flux in the mortgage sector.
This includes higher borrowing costs amid conflict in the Middle East, an ongoing wave of remortgaging following the low-rate pandemic period, the FCA’s focus on closing the protection gap, and changes to mortgage underwriting rules which are in the pipeline.
Jo Carrasco, business partnerships director at Stonebridge, said: “We know advisers are busy running their businesses, so it’s at this time of year we love to go to them.
“These roadshows are an important feature of our calendar because they give members the chance to catch up on the latest trends, regulations, and product news with a focus on delivery.
“Think of each roadshow as a mini-conference designed to deliver exactly the right amount of information that advisers can implement straight away.
“We’ve witnessed an enormous exchange of value in the past. Principals and advisers swap experience and best practice in a way that turns the whole event into a collaborative workshop, on top of all the new information we’re presenting to them.
“It’s a valuable investment by us as a network in our members, and it all feels incredibly entrepreneurial on the day. It’s so worth it.”
