Sort Ball returns for 2026

Published on

Sort Group has confirmed the return of its industry networking event Sort Ball, with tickets for the 2026 event set to go on sale later this month following strong demand for the inaugural gathering last year.

Sort Ball 2026 will take place on Wednesday 21 October at Vaillant Live in Derby, a new venue in the city where the legal and conveyancing services group was founded.

The event is aimed at professionals across the mortgage, property and legal sectors, including brokers, conveyancers, surveyors and industry suppliers.

The first Sort Ball, held in October 2025 at Albert Hall in Manchester, attracted more than 250 guests and sold out within two weeks, prompting organisers to secure a larger venue for this year’s event. Sort Group said the move to Derby will allow more attendees to take part as interest in cross-industry networking events continues to grow.

TICKETS ON SALE

Tickets for the 2026 event will go on sale from Monday 23 March, with early demand expected following the success of the launch event.

Sort Ball is supported this year by sponsors including Home Surveying, MAB, Kingsley Bond and Landmark, with media partnership from Mortgage Soup and Today’s Media.

Kevin Tunnicliffe (main picture, inset), CEO of Sort Group, said: “We were overwhelmed by the response to our inaugural Sort Ball and the incredible feedback from guests and sponsors. Bringing the event to Derby feels incredibly special for us as a Derby-founded business, and we’re excited to create an even bigger and better celebration in 2026.”
