Mortgage Advice Bureau combines new-build businesses under Meridian Group

Published on

Mortgage Advice Bureau has completed the integration of three specialist new-build mortgage businesses into a single operating company.

Meridian Mortgages, William Lowden and Evolve Financial Solutions have been brought together under the Meridian Group following an integration programme that began after Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) acquired the businesses outright in September 2025.

The three companies had previously been part-owned by MAB. The intermediary said their consolidation, completed on Monday 3 August, marked the final stage of the process.

The combined business will pair local adviser relationships with MAB’s mortgage technology and data. MAB said the larger operation would strengthen its work with housebuilders and developers while improving the service provided to homebuyers.

Existing advisers and other employees have been retained within the integrated team, bringing their experience and relationships into the Meridian Group.

Felicity Barnett, new build and affordable housing partnerships manager at Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “Bringing these market-leading firms together under one brand is an important milestone in strengthening our new build proposition.

“We’ve brought together the best of each business into one team, with one proposition and one way of working, while importantly retaining all of the talented people and expertise that our partners value.

“We know the industry continues to face challenges, which is why we’re investing in a stronger, more unified business that is well placed to support the housebuilding sector as it continues to evolve.”
