Servicer makes hire to expand into seconds

Gerry McHugh has been appointed as director of operations at financial outsourcer Oakwood Global Finance.

He is tasked with continuing to grow Oakwood’s outsourced loan-servicing and origination business and lead the firm’s diversification into servicing the second-charge and unsecured loan sectors.

McHugh comes to Oakwood from Barclays Wealth, where he was the global head of credit operations. Prior to that, he held director-level roles in the mortgage divisions of Lehman Brothers and Global Home Loans.
