Penguin Day for Brightstar and MT Finance

Published on

Brightstar Financial is marking two years of its people development partnership with MT Finance with a series of events across the Brightstar Group branded as Penguin Day.

MT Finance has sponsored Brightstar’s People Development Programme for two years and has confirmed that it will be extending the partnership into 2020.

All office locations across Brightstar Financial and Sirius Property Finance will dedicate the day to MT Finance, with senior managers and BDMs from the lender onsite across the business.

In addition, Brightstar will be holding a number of events at its Billericay office, including a charity Christmas, and preferably penguin-themed, jumper day in support of Dementia Revolution and the launch of the newly branded MT Finance Greenhouse, which provides a space for team members to take time out away from their work space. Team members across the Group will also be presented by MT Finance with their new Professional Development Portfolio folders. These are an integral part of the People Development Programme and encourage staff to showcase their contributions and achievements and to keep an ongoing record of training and development.

Clare Jupp, director of people development at Brightstar Financial, said: Penguin Day is a bit of fun, but it celebrates an important partnership with MT Finance that has enabled us to invest in our people development programme.

“It’s this investment that helped us to win the Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For in the UK and the Best Overall Company to Work For in the East of England earlier this year, and to retain our 3 Star Best Companies accreditation last month.

“We are looking forward to a day of penguin-themed fun, but also continuing to work with our key partners on promoting people development and positive working environments.”
