Openwork appoints chief operating officer

Openwork has announce the appointment of Neil Milner as its chief operating officer (COO).

He joins the network from Halfords plc where he was head of programmes, responsible for executing the business’ key strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Halfords, Milner was IT director for the National Trust between 2011 and 2013. He has also held senior positions at Travelodge Hotels Ltd and DSGi.

At Openwork, he will be responsible for developing and improving the network’s processes and enhancing outcomes for clients.

Mark Duckworth, Openwork’s CEO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Neil to Openwork in an important role for the business. Neil brings with him valuable experience outside financial services across a number of progressive sectors and we look forward to leveraging his expertise and strong technical skills as we move to the next stage in our development.”

Milner added: “I am extremely pleased to be joining Openwork at this exciting time for the business. Having worked in a range of other sectors I am looking forward to a new challenge in financial services with a large and growing organisation that embraces change and puts its advisers and their clients at the heart of everything it does.”
