Only five new mortgages in August

The number of mortgage schemes available to intermediaries remained stable in August according to Mortgage Brain’s Monthly Product Analysis. The total number of live mortgage schemes listed on its sourcing system increased by just 0.2% – an additional five products

August is typically one of the quietest months for the product changes so it’s perhaps no surprise that little movement in product availability was seen” says Mark Lofthouse
