OMS allies with Sanctions Search

Published on

One Mortgage System (OMS) has formed a strategic alliance with Sanctions Search to provide OMS users with the ability to collate relevant client information and ensure money laundering controls are in place.

OMS users will also have access to Sanctions Search’s new tool ValidID, which verifies clients identity, provides results on any bankruptcies or insolvencies, checks the voters roll and validates passports/driving licences. It also undertakes several additional background checks to highlight any potential issues involving individual clients.

OMS is an end-to-end CRM system which covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance and protection.

Neal Jannels, managing director of One Mortgage System (OMS), said: “Information remains king for advisers and being able to collate accurate client information via a simple and secure online tool can help ensure that client’s needs are managed in a faster, more effective manner.

“Having access to this kind of information at the start of the application process really can help advisers to overcome numerous obstacles and delays further down the line, especially when it comes to more complex cases which are becoming all the more common in the current lending environment.

“Our integration with Sanctions Search will help our users to evidence all the relevant checks to ensure responsible client management processes are firmly in place and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”
