Oakwood ratings upgraded by Fitch

Fitch Ratings has upgraded a number of Oakwood Global Finance LLP’s (Oakwood) UK servicer ratings.

UK Residential Primary (prime) Servicer Rating was upgraded to ‘RPS2-‘ from ‘RPS3+’ UK Residential Primary (subprime) Servicer Rating upgraded to ‘RPS2-‘ from ‘RPS3+’ and UK Residential Special Servicer Rating upgraded to ‘RSS2’ from ‘RSS2-‘.

Meanwhile, UK Residential Master Servicer Rating was affirmed at ‘RMS2-‘.

The ratings are based on Oakwood’s ability to effectively manage growth, as evidenced by the acquisition of four new portfolios within the past 12 months, including the largest non-performing loan portfolio trade in the UK since the credit crisis began.

Fitch also notes the “considerable experience”” among senior and middle management as well as staff
