Any broker submitting a secured loan enquiry to Norton Broker Services during the Tour ee France will be automatically entered into the firm’s Grand (depart) Prize Draw.

Introducers have the chance to win a road bike.

The competition launch coincided with the Tour starting in Norton’s home county of Yorkshire.

The firm said it had a “record breaking” June and that the number of new enquiries continues to increase.

Lee Schofield, business development manager for Norton Broker Services, said: “July and August usually sees a drop in new enquiries but a combination of our competition and the impact of MMR has meant that we are just getting busier.

“Since MMR we have certainly seen an increase in the number of mortgage brokers contacting us about secured loans which is refreshing as it’s usually the other way around.

“We have also seen a rise in the number of referrals for unsecured loans as well as a strong interest from Scottish brokers in our Norton Home Loans products.”
