New look for Hinckley & Rugby

Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has introduced a new brand and design for its branches, literature and website.

The new design has been introduced first at the Society’s branch in South Wigston, Leicestershire.

The new look will next be applied in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, before a roll-out across the rest of the branch network during 2013.

“Our brand had evolved gradually over many years, but it was a little inconsistent in how it was applied and was looking a little past its best,” admitted Hinckley & Rugby chief executive Chris White.

“For some time we have been reflecting on how important the warmth of the welcome we give to our customers is and, more importantly, how we could improve even further to ensure the experience they get when they visit is truly first class.

“We can now look at South Wigston, at the literature we hand out and at our website and be confident in the key message that we send to our customers – we provide modern mortgages and savings backed by traditional service.”

The new graphic look has been applied to signage, stationery and marketing material, website and Twitter feed.

White added: “Updating our branches, staff uniforms, website and every other way we have a presence is an investment in the future of the Society.

“It has been very pleasing that we have been able to source so much of what we needed from local businesses, which in turn helps the local economy. This underlines our place at the heart of the communities we serve, something all of our 99 staff take great pride in.”
