Mortgage Magic expands secure portal to Apple Mac App Store

Published on

Mortgage Magic has launched its Secure Portal on the Apple Mac App Store, giving Mac users access to the same AI-powered secured environment already available on Windows.

The move means the platform is now available across the major desktop operating systems used by FCA-regulated mortgage firms, allowing advisers, introducers and compliance teams to work within the same secured environment regardless of their choice of hardware.

The Secure Portal launched on the Microsoft Windows Store earlier this year. Mortgage Magic said the Mac version provides access to the same proprietary AI technology, bank-grade encryption, secure password vault and AI Lender Connect functionality as the Windows application.

The technology provider said the expansion addresses the mixed device environments commonly found across networks, broker firms and compliance teams, removing the need for Mac users to rely on different systems.

Tanjir Sugar (pictured), chief executive at Mortgage Magic, said: “Security cannot be platform-dependent.

“It would make no sense to build the most secure environment in the UK mortgage market and then limit it to one operating system. The Secure Portal carries our own AI, governed under ISO 42001, and bank-grade security throughout and now every adviser, whether they are on Windows or Mac, works inside that same environment.

“This is not a smaller version, a lighter version, or a different version. It is the same Secure Portal, the same AI, the same security standard, now available everywhere our advisers work.”

Mortgage Magic said the Mac application includes access to both the Mortgage Magic Portal and Finance Magic Portal from a single interface, together with its QR code mobile-to-desktop login process through the Mortgage Magic Partner app.

The lender connectivity features available through AI Lender Connect are also accessible to Mac users, while the application has been made available through Apple’s official app review process.

The Secure Portal is available through both the Microsoft Windows Store and the Apple Mac App Store. Access requires active Mortgage Magic subscriber credentials.
