Molo extends LMS partnership with move to Panel Link

Molo has expanded its partnership with LMS by joining Panel Link, in a move designed to improve control and efficiency in the post-offer mortgage process.

The specialist mortgage lender, which supports UK and overseas borrowers, said the move would help brokers progress cases more efficiently through to completion.

The development follows Molo’s earlier rollout of its conveyancing proposition with LMS and is intended to support operational resilience as lending volumes grow and cases become more complex.

Through Panel Link, brokers and their clients can access a panel of pre-approved law firms through a centralised platform. Molo said this would bring greater consistency to panel management, clearer visibility of legal progress and tighter oversight from mortgage offer through to completion.

The functionality available to Molo includes Secure Link, which provides a secure channel for exchanging sensitive post-offer information and redemption statements between lenders and conveyancers.

It also includes Document Distribution, designed to support faster and more reliable delivery of documentation, including mortgage offer documents, and Charge Registration, which is intended to streamline the registration of charges.

Molo became the first lender to integrate with LMS Select via API in March 2024. It said Panel Link builds on that capability by reducing manual intervention, minimising exceptions and improving post-offer control.

The enhanced partnership also gives Molo access to law firms that meet LMS quality, security and compliance standards, while supporting the lender’s ability to scale without compromising service levels for brokers and borrowers.

Matthew Kimber (pictured), chief executive of Molo, said: “Joining Panel Link is a natural progression in our ongoing partnership with LMS.

“As a lender, our priority is to ensure momentum does not drop after offer. Panel Link provides us with greater visibility and control at a critical stage of the mortgage journey.

“It enables brokers to progress their clients’ cases smoothly, with greater certainty through to completion. As volumes grow, this approach helps us maintain consistency, manage risk effectively and deliver reliable service across increasingly complex cases.”

Suzanne O’Connor, chief relationship officer at LMS, added: “We are delighted to welcome Molo to Panel Link, as our partnership continues to expand. By providing a secure, centralised way to work with trusted law firms, Panel Link supports lenders to scale with confidence, whilst maintaining quality and efficiencies across every transaction.”
