LendInvest has expanded its commercial support team with a particular focus on helping brokers across the residential and buy-to-let markets.
The technology-backed specialist lender has introduced new telephone business development manager roles and expanded its sales desk operation as part of a wider investment in customer and broker experience.
Based in Glasgow, the enhanced team will provide support across LendInvest’s buy-to-let, specialist residential and bridging ranges, with the lender aiming to deliver faster responses and more proactive engagement with intermediary partners.
The newly created telephone business development manager roles will be undertaken by Josh Beattie and Callum McLaughlin, who will focus on outbound engagement, lead management and account support for brokers.
LendInvest has also recruited five business development associates to strengthen its front-line support function. The team will assist brokers with product enquiries, sales emails, registrations and use of the lender’s Mortgages Portal.
The lender said the expanded operation is designed to provide a smoother experience from the first point of contact, particularly for brokers handling buy-to-let cases and specialist residential transactions.
The Glasgow team will work alongside LendInvest’s existing network of nine field business development managers, while also supporting the lender’s wider product offering.
Lauren Armstrong, customer experience manager at LendInvest, said: “Our brokers and customers are at the heart of everything we do at LendInvest.
“By introducing specialised Telephone BDMs and significantly expanding our BDA team, we are ensuring that our partners have immediate access to the expertise they need.
“Whether it’s a complex buy-to-let enquiry or a residential product transfer, this investment guarantees that our service not only meets market demands but stays firmly ahead of the game.”
Daniel O’Connor, chief operating officer at LendInvest, added: “Our investment in the Glasgow team reflects a clear commitment to our partners: even faster responses, greater accessibility and proactive support.
“By bolstering our front-line capabilities, we are ensuring that brokers never have to choose between digital speed and expert, hands-on guidance.
“Combining this expertise with our advanced technology allows us to simplify property finance from the very first touchpoint, giving brokers the tailored support they need to win business in a competitive market.”
