General insurance solutions provider Paymentshield has revealed that specialist insurer Integra has joined its home insurance panel.

Integra, a UK-based Managing General Agent, specialises in personal home insurance and has over 40 years of experience in the industry. It utilises the latest market data to underwrite and price customer policies.

Its claim service is operated in the UK and offers end-to-end 24/7 support for policyholders.

It joins the likes of AXA, RSA and Zurich on Paymentshield’s home insurance panel.

Joe Bishop, insurer relations director at Paymentshield, said: “At Paymentshield we work closely with insurers to deliver to our advisers the best quality panel that offers a wide scope of coverage, competition on price and the peace of mind that, should their clients ever need to make a claim, they will receive an unrivalled experience.

“Integra, who are a UK based MGA who offer insurance exclusively though selected intermediaries, will deliver against all of our criteria and provide advisers with a great opportunity to talk about general insurance with their clients.”

Tony Dixon, Integra’s chief underwriting officer for home, added: “We’re delighted to be forming a new partnership with Paymentshield. Their unique distribution channel through mortgage and financial advisers opens up a new segment of the home insurance market to Integra.

“We’re now able to offer Paymentshield customers competitive household rates driven from our sophisticated pricing. This is an exciting opportunity for both parties, and we look forward to building a successful relationship.”
