Hastings hires marketing director

Nicola Charles of Hastings

Insurance brokerage Hastings has appointed Nicola Charles as its new marketing director.

Charles (pictured) will report directly to Tobias van der Meer, managing director of retail.

She was formerly the head of digital marketing at LV=. She has extensive experience in the sector having previously held senior roles in claims, customer relations and partnerships for RBS Insurance.

Hastings recently announced that it will undertake a new advertising campaign in 2013 and Nicola will join the team to further drive the brand with consumers.

Gary Hoffman, Hastings’ CEO: “Nicola is joining us at an exciting time, as we have huge plans for the Hastings Direct brand in 2013 and she will be integral in helping us to deliver these. I look forward to working with Nicola and I welcome her to the team.”
