Green Mortgages becomes Stonebridge AR

National mortgage and protection network, Stonebridge, has welcomed national mortgage brokerage, Green Mortgages, to the fold.

Green Mortgages is the latest Appointed Representative (AR) firm to join the Stonebridge network.

EIGHT OFFICES

Established in 2018, Green Mortgages operates nationwide with offices in London, Cardiff, Chester, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool, and Newcastle.

The business is run by managing director, Michael Kallaras and was co-founded by Harry Power & Jack Power. Green Mortgages operates with a team of over 20 people and since launch has helped over 5,000 clients complete their mortgage.

In 2023, Stonebridge achieved the largest net increase of Appointed Representatives, in real terms, of all the mortgage and protection networks in the UK, according to independent research conducted by Network Consulting Services.

Rob Clifford (pictured), chief executive at Stonebridge, said: “Many of the advisory firms we speak to about joining Stonebridge have strong aspirations for growth and want to work with a network that can help them fulfil these aspirations.

“Firms want a principal partner with exemplary financial standing, infrastructure, and commitment to both people and technology”

“The team at Green Mortgages certainly has that goal, and we couldn’t be more pleased that they’ve put their trust in Stonebridge to support them on their growth journey.

“Firms want a principal partner with exemplary financial standing, infrastructure, and commitment to both people and technology. We want the same things. It’s why we focus investment in the areas that enable us to deliver in the areas most valued by AR firms like Green Mortgages.”

OPPORTUNITIES

Kallaras added: “We are very pleased to have joined Stonebridge, not least because we’re fully aware of the opportunities this move now provides us as a business and the excellent level of support we now have access to.

“It was vitally important that we chose a network that we will have a close working relationship with and who understands our growth strategy and everything we want to achieve with Green Mortgages.

“From the first interaction, I’m pleased to say that Stonebridge clearly understood this. They are the right size for us and have everything we need to help deliver on our ambitions. We’re looking forward to moving the business forward, growing our operation, and delivering on our strategy in partnership with Stonebridge.”
