The online platform for small business lending says that brokers introducing a minimum of two business clients before the end of September 2012 (where one is approved for a loan) can win a champagne three course dinner for two.

Funding Circle, is currently lending over £1 million per week to small businesses through its online platform.

“Since our launch in 2010, we have built a significant following among professional advisers and their business clients,” said Laura McMullen, head of business development at Funding Circle.

“As August marks our second birthday we wanted to include our introducing supporters in the birthday celebrations.”

She added that Funding Circle’s investors have lent more to businesses in the first week of August than in the whole of August last year.
