Funding Circle expands intermediary development team

Funding Circle has appointed Laura Kinghorn to the role of business development manager (BDM) for the North West of England.

She joins from Abbey for Intermediaries where she spent three and a half years as a BDM. Previously she ran the sales team at HFC Bank for three years.

She joins Stuart Pedersen, who has been working in a similar development role for the past three months.

“Laura’s appointment comes at a time when requests for information about our service from professional advisers is at an all time high,” said head of business development. “We are delighted that Laura has joined us.

“She brings with her just the kind of hands on experience we need to help us build our message to the intermediary market, and grow our numbers of supporting broker firms.”

Kinghorn added: “My experience in the residential mortgage market has given me an in depth understanding of the intermediary market in the North West. I’m looking forward to introducing Funding Circle to advisers in the region and helping to grow our intermediary offer nationwide.”
