The Derbyshire Building Society has reduced its personal loan rate to 4.6% APR Representative.

The rate is available for loans of between £7,500 and £15,000 for a term of up to five years.

John Crossley, Nationwide’s head of personal loans, said: “Particularly at this time of year, people are looking to consolidate debt. In such circumstances, a personal loan could help reduce outgoings into manageable monthly payments.

“We would advise people to shop around to find the most competitive loan to ensure they are not paying significantly more than they need to.”
